Insulation in San Jacinto since 2013
I grew up crawling through attics around San Jacinto with my dad, and after years on his crew I started Advanced San Jacinto Insulation Company in 2013. We're licensed and insured, and we handle 16 kinds of insulation work for homeowners, property managers and business owners. Most calls start with a room that won't stay comfortable or a question about whether old insulation is still doing its job. You can read more about me and how we work.
Why San Jacinto homeowners call us
A good insulation crew should explain what's in your attic before quoting, do the work in the right order and leave the space better than they found it, not just thicker.
Photos of your attic
I go up into your attic or crawl space, take photos and walk you through them in plain words, so you can decide what makes sense.
Air sealing comes first
We close the gaps around lights, pipes and the attic hatch before adding insulation, so the new material isn't fighting a draft from below.
Even depth, open vents
We carry full depth out to the edges and keep the vents along your roof edge clear, because thin edges and buried vents leave cold spots and damp framing.
Repairs before insulation
If there's a roof leak, a wiring problem or a safety issue, I'd rather we deal with it first than hide it under new insulation.

Insulation contractor services in San Jacinto, CA
Advanced San Jacinto Insulation Company is an insulation contractor in San Jacinto, CA, and the 16 services below cover rooms that run hot upstairs, cold floors, a high power bill and attics nobody has checked in years. The price mostly follows the size of the space, how many inches are already there, whether old material has to come out first and whether foam or loose fill fits the job. The schedule turns on those same things, plus any repairs that need to happen before we insulate. Your estimate lays out each step for your house in the order it should go.
Spray foam insulation
Spray foam goes on as a liquid and expands to fill every gap, so it insulates and seals air in one step. It's the right call in some attics and walls, and we'll say plainly when loose fill would serve you better.
Learn moreAttic insulation
Hot upstairs, or the room over the garage never feels right? We check how many inches are already in your attic, clear out anything spoiled and bring the depth up across the whole floor.
Learn moreBlown-in insulation
Blown-in insulation is loose fill blown through a hose, and it's the usual way we top up an attic. It settles around joists, wiring and odd corners that batts can't reach.
Learn moreHome insulation
For homeowners who want the whole house looked at, we go through the attic, walls and crawl space together. Then we lay out which spots are costing you comfort first.
Learn moreInsulation removal
When old insulation is soaked, flattened or full of droppings, we vacuum it out and clean the space. That way the problem doesn't stay buried under anything new.
Learn moreCrawl space insulation
Cold floors over a crawl space usually mean the insulation underneath has fallen, gotten wet or was never put in. We replace what's missing and secure it so it stays up against the floor.
Learn moreWall insulation
We fill empty or thin wall cavities in finished homes through small holes that get patched afterward. Drafty rooms get warmer in winter and cooler in summer without tearing out drywall.
Learn moreAir sealing services
What's air sealing? It's closing the gaps around pipes, wires, ceiling lights and the attic hatch, so the air you paid to heat or cool stops slipping out.
Learn moreBasement insulation
We insulate basement walls and the rim joist, the wood band where the house sits on the foundation. A below-grade room then stops being the coldest one in the house.
Learn moreClosed-cell foam insulation
Closed-cell foam is a dense foam that also blocks moisture. We use it where a space faces dampness or needs a lot of insulating power in a thin cavity.
Learn moreOpen-cell foam insulation
Open-cell foam is softer and lighter than closed-cell, seals air well and cuts down on noise. It's a common pick for rooflines and interior walls.
Learn moreCommercial insulation
Property managers and business owners call us for offices, shops and rental buildings. We bring the same look-first, photos-first approach to bigger spaces.
Learn moreCrawl space vapor barrier
We lay heavy plastic sheeting over the dirt in your crawl space and seal the seams. It keeps ground moisture from rising into the floor framing and insulation.
Learn moreVapor barrier installation
We install vapor barriers in walls, attics and floors on the side the job calls for. A barrier on the wrong side can trap moisture inside the insulation instead of keeping it out.
Learn moreAttic air sealing
Dark streaks on the insulation over a ceiling light mean air is moving through that opening. We seal those openings from the attic side so the attic stops pulling air out of your rooms.
Learn moreRetrofit insulation
Older house with little or nothing in the walls and attic? Retrofit insulation adds it to a finished home through the attic, the crawl space and small wall openings, without major demolition.

Insulation questions we hear most
These are the questions San Jacinto homeowners ask before they let anyone into the attic. If yours isn't here, ask me when I come out, or send it through the form.
How much does attic insulation cost in San Jacinto?
There's no honest price until someone has been in the attic, because what's already up there decides how much work it is. An attic that only needs the gaps sealed and loose fill topped up costs far less than one where soaked or droppings-filled insulation has to come out first. Your estimate breaks out each step so you can see where the money goes.
How much can a contractor ask for as a down payment on home improvement work in California?
California caps the down payment at $1,000 or 10 percent of the contract price, whichever is less. The Contractors State License Board sets that rule, and it also says later payments must be spelled out in the contract and tied to work done or materials delivered.
How long does attic insulation take, and do we have to leave the house?
It depends on the size of the attic and whether old insulation has to come out first, and you'll know the plan from your estimate. For air sealing and blown-in work, you can usually stay home. Spray foam is different, so you, the kids and the pets stay out until the foam maker's re-entry time, the point when it's safe to come back in.
Who issues building permits for insulation work in San Jacinto?
Inside San Jacinto city limits, the city's Building & Safety Division processes permit applications and inspects the work. Whether your particular job needs a permit is a question for them, and I'll raise it at the estimate. When a job does need one, we pull it, set up the inspections and walk you through what the city or county asks for.
Should old insulation be removed before adding new insulation?
Only when it's soaked, moldy or full of droppings, because new material laid over it just buries the problem. If what's up there is dry and clean but thin, we usually seal the gaps and add to it. I'll show you photos so you can see which kind of attic you have.
What if a room still isn't comfortable after the insulation is done?
Call us at (951) 292-7462, tell me what you're noticing, and we'll talk it through. Sometimes the cause is a duct, a window or something else that belongs to another trade, and I'll tell you plainly if that's what it looks like. Your satisfaction, guaranteed.
Is spray foam or blown-in insulation better for an attic?
For most attics, sealing the gaps and topping up blown-in insulation is the better buy, and spray foam earns its higher cost when ductwork runs through the attic. Foam seals air while it insulates, and that matters most around ducts. I'll tell you which way I'd go for your attic and why.
Does an insulation contractor in San Jacinto need a California license?
In most cases yes, because the state licenses anyone who builds or alters a building, and a license applies when the job needs a permit, uses hired workers or totals $1,000 or more in labor and materials. The board also says a bigger job can't be split into smaller contracts to get under that amount.
